neutral Pongbot Customer Service Experience
Bought after a lot of research a Pongbot Pace S Pro. Decided based on marginal customer service experiences by others to order through Amazon. Before taking delivery I learned that Pongbot offered a $150 discount and some free goodies if ordered from Pongbot website. Contacted Pongbot “Customer Service” to see how the unequal treatment could be remedied. The answer was that Amazon distribution was handled by a different department at Pongbot and that I was SOL. A follow-up email I sent was never answered… 0-40 for me, I guess. submitted by /u/CriticalWankerGB to r/ConsumerAdvice [link] [comments]
neutral PongBot Pace S Pro owners: ball feed/toss for serve practice?
Does anyone know if there’s a drill or setting on the PongBot Pace S Pro that will simply feed/toss balls out from the hopper so you can practice serving? I saw a YouTube video where someone had the PongBot tossing a ball up to them and they were serving it, but I can’t figure out how to set this up

neutral Are tennis lessons worth the cost?
I am in a predicament where I want to get better at tennis. I bought the Pongbot Ball Pace S Pro earlier this summer to work on my specific mechanics (hitting ascending/descending balls after the bounce, direct volley, etc). My shots are controlled and going to the desired target. Having a ball machine is nice, but I wonder now if getting a coach would be worth the cost and see if my general mechanics may be off. 10 professional hours appears to be equivalent to the current cost of a ball machine (~1k). This equals out to about 10 lessons total. I have never been officially rated but would like to think I am a 3.0-3.5. I am not going professional but would like to be a competitive player in the 40-year-old age bracket. submitted by /u/SpicyMealOutside to r/10s [link] [comments]

negative Tennis ball machine advice…
I’m finally ready to buy a ball machine and have narrowed it down to the PongBot Pace S Pro and the Hydrogen Proton. The pongbot one is the cheapest of them costing almost half the price of the proton but it lacks the proton’s portability, physical buttons, and Apple Watch compatibility but on the other hand they seem to be as consistent if not better, probably faster ball speeds and doesn’t have the drift issue that some proton users have reported, I am overall a little concerned about the pace s pro’s long term durability. Is the proton really worth the extra ~$800? For anyone who has used or owned either machine, which one would you choose? submitted by /u/Global_Display_7693 to r/10s [link] [comments]
neutral Pongbot Pace S vs Pace S Pro?
I think i’m pretty set on buying the pongbot but i’m wondering if the pro is worth the extra money? For reference i’m a 3.5 and looking to play by myself on the days i dont have a hitting partner. I want to work on drills (groundstrokes, volleys, etc) but also am curious if the ai adaptive rallying
neutral comment TENNIX Basic vs. Pace S Pro – is TENNIX too unstable or underpowered?
egarding the ball machine, I’d strongly lean towards the TENNIX if you have stairs. Carrying a 20kg Pace machine up and down will quickly kill your motivation, and you'll end up not using it at all. Portability is king! However, as a 2.5-3.0 player practicing 4-5 days a week alone, I have to giv
neutral comment TENNIX Basic vs. Pace S Pro – is TENNIX too unstable or underpowered?
Both of these have new models launching via kickstarter. The Pongbot (Pace) just closed (you can still probably order) and Tennix is about to launch (you can get a pre-launch discount).
negative TENNIX Basic vs. Pace S Pro – is TENNIX too unstable or underpowered?
I m currently deciding between the TENNIX Basic for around €900 and the Pace S Pro for around $1,200. At the moment, I’m leaning towards the TENNIX because it seems much more portable. I have to carry the machine up and down stairs, so the weight is a major factor for me. It is also cheaper and, from what I have seen, probably quieter. I don’t want to disturb other players on nearby courts or attract too much unnecessary attention. Another advantage is that TENNIX offers camera support, and apparently the Basic version can later be upgraded with additional features and made closer to the Pro version. I also keep reading negative comments from people saying that certain features did not work properly, the balls did not consistently clear the net, they had support issues, or they felt like they had wasted their money. Are these isolated cases, or is there actually a significant risk of making a bad purchase? My another concern is the power and ball speed. Some people say that TENNIX is n

neutral Pongbot Pace S Pro or Acemate?
I’m a newbie and I’ve never owned a ball machine before, so I want to make sure I invest in a good one for the long haul. I’m deciding between the Pongbot Pace S Pro and the Acemate. I was originally leaning toward Acemate, but I’m starting to wonder if Pongbot is the safer buy from a value, reliability, and support standpoint. I also see Pongbot mentioned and used in this subreddit quite a bit, which gives me a little more confidence in it. The only thing making me hesitate with Acemate is that I had it in my cart at $1,899 during what was advertised as a 2 week spring deal, then the deal got pulled before I could complete the order. From what I saw, the ad never said it was based on limited supply or that it could end early. When I asked about it, they basically said they could not honor it because they ran out of machines for that promo. I’m not trying to bash them because I still like the product and keep gravitating back to it. I’m just factoring that experience into the decision.

positive Is pongbot pace s pro reliable
Is there pongbot review anywhere, because I saw one at training center few days ago and it looked like the most optimal ball machine I’ve seen so far. But only reviews I found was random threads or forums, nothing like authentic, I’m sure people actually use it. Based on these “reviews” everyone loves the functionality (sensor triggered feed etc). I'm down for anything as long as it can be reliable training partner. It is quite pricey (2000$), i guess it is around the same as other high end machines (titan, spinshot, lobster etc). Are there people here that actually use it in their training? Would really appreciate it if you give your honest opinion, I’d love to try something new, but for this price I want it to be RELIABLE. submitted by /u/Round_Equipment8777 to r/10s [link] [comments]
